Description
The triple beam balance is a measuring instrument comprising a beam supported on a fulcrum. On one side of this beam, is a pan on which the object to be measured is placed, while on the other side, the beam is split into three parallel beams, each carrying a known weight and together culminating into a pointer pointing to a fixed scale. The weights are slid on their respective beams until zero reading is obtained and a state of balance is achieved.
The Ohaus TBB has an easy-to-read notched and tiered beams, self-aligning beam design, magnetic dampening to minimize oscillation and speed weighing, and a zero adjust compensator.

The Challenger Learning Center is located on the beautiful Kleman Plaza in Downtown Tallahassee.
Our STEAM-themed camps feature hands-on activities led by experienced educators. The Challenger Learning Center’s “Camp Challenger” strives to ensure campers have fun in a safe and educational atmosphere. At the Challenger Learning Center, campers are guaranteed focused attention with a ratio of at least one educator for every eight children.
Camp counselors, as well as volunteers, are made up of teachers, students pursuing a degree in education, professionals with an extensive science background and/or individuals experienced with child care or best practices in education. Additionally, in order to maintain a secure atmosphere, all camp staff completes a Level 2 background check and all camp staff are diligent about checking identification of those dropping off/picking up children.
